Unique, a beautiful book featuring creative owner-built homes of Nimbin and surrounds, is finally out there.

Thank you everyone who came to the book launch and made it a success. 70 books were sold on the night. I had planned a short talk and had invited Steph Seckold to speak about Sibley Street, but it didn’t happen as I was overwhelmed by the unexpected queue of people waiting for books to be signed. However, Steph can be found at 7 Sibley Street every Monday and Tuesday 10am-2pm, and is in and out on Wednesdays. Thanks also to Robyn Frances who made the beautiful venue at Djanbung Gardens available at a reduced rate, and to Melian Fertl for opening the cafe. I couldn’t have finished this book without the technical support of my neighbour and friend Tony Meggs, and Alfredo Bonnano who created the website for online sales.

If anyone needs a website designer, nimbinhomes.com.au is an example of his work. Although the book includes homes from the surrounding areas, Alfredo advised me that the word Nimbin would generate more traffic to the website, and as the book is a fundraiser, I agreed. To everyone who generously opened their homes and shared their stories, thank you so much… without you there would be no book.
